Jared Canter (1).jpg

Jared Canter

General Manager of Trade and Commercial

Over the last 8 years, Jared has been part of the rapidly growing Pella branch serving North Texas. Jared started his journey with a focus on the local builder/contractor segment as a Trade Sales Consultant for the first three plus years, where he was recognized as Pella Corporation’s Rookie of the Year as well as Presidents Club the year following. Jared thoroughly enjoyed playing a small role in clients dream homes going from blueprints to a reality with a big yellow bullseye in every single window and door. He never took for granted the trust that small business owners put in him to help take their business to the next level and invested the time to build relationships with people throughout the building material industry that he still holds on to today. Jared enjoyed the wins along the way, but always preferred winning as a team as opposed to on his own. Jared has always had his eyes set on earning a leadership role within the organization, and after a few years of being top in sales, assisting with onboarding new reps, being a part of multiple kaizen events, and taking leadership courses offered by Pella he was given the opportunity of Trade Sales Manager. The last four plus years, Jared has had the privilege of leading the best Trade Sales team on the planet and has had the joy of watching the squad break record after record. Over the last few years, the Trade team has seen their growth soar well over double digits, the R&A drop below 1%, and their overall discount hover on plan. Jared has been there to support senior sales reps set new personal bests while achieving their own Presidents Club and Champion Circle, along with bringing in new talented individuals that will make a huge impact on our company for many years to come. Jared fully understands he plays “a role” and not “the role” and has been an example for others in the system through his servant leadership style. Jared continues to invest in the building material community outside of his role with Pella, and currently serves on the Executive Board for The Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, an association that awarded him Young Professional of the Year in 2018.
